This week we speak to cousins, Sean and Patrick, founders of Grubbly Farms. The guys tell us how they went from growing black soldier fly larva in their laundry room in college to a full fledged sustainable chicken feed, treat, and dog treat business.
Grubbly Farms focuses on making food that is good for pets and the planet. The duo started with backyard chickens, creating golden grub-filled recipes with a fraction of the environmental footprint of traditional pet food. Sean and Patrick answer questions about where they source their BSF larva, and how they can continue to promote sustainable practices in the fast growing world of backyard chickens.
